2024 Player Registration for TBall Baseball and Softball Leagues

If you have any questions regarding our programs, please click here to visit our Frequently Asked Questions before you register.  To make your registration as easy as possible, please read the following instructions carefully before starting your registration session.

 

Please note:  As you work through our registration process, you may notice our website vendor extends a "registration insurance offer" to all registering parents as part of this registration.  We do not have any control over the presence of that offer.  If you choose to accept the offer, that is your choice.  For what it is worth, we have a flexible player refund policy under which refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis.  In general, a full refund will be given if a player registers but does not participate in the season for any reason (injury, move, second thoughts).  If a player begins the season and then withdraws for any reason, refunds are determined based on the timing and reason for the withdrawal.  

 

Use this Registration Session to
register players for the following jybsa programs:

1.   Instructional T-Ball Program / Player fee $50 ($60 after March 15) 

2.  All Softball Leagues / Player fee $125 ($150 after March 15)

3.  7/8 Year Old Baseball / Player fee $125 ($150 after March 15) 

4.  9-15 Year Old Baseball / Player fee $135 ($160 after March 15) 

5.  No Refunds after Teams have been created.

 

DO NOT USE THIS REGISTRATION TO REGISTER 1) PLAYERS FOR JYBSA TOURNAMENT TEAMS OR 2) TEAMS FOR JYBSA TOURNAMENTS.

We use separate registration sessions for those offerings, and we post separate links for them on our website when the registrations are open.

 

Online Registration is mandatory! 

We use online registration because it saves us the volunteer time it would otherwise take to process 900+ paper registrations.  For that reason, all players are required to register online, no exceptions.  

 

tips for First-Time Users: 

If this is your first time using our system, you must create a User ID and Password and then activate your profile for the system to work.   Please note this is a two-step process!

 

First, create your User ID and password by clicking the “Sign Up” button at the bottom of this page and following the prompts.

 

Second, activate your profile by checking your email for a message from our system and then clicking on the activation link that will be included in the email message.  (If you do not receive an email message from our system within moments of creating your User ID, please make sure the message is not in your junk mail folder).

 

Once you have activated your User ID, you can begin your registration by clicking the “Continue” button below.

 

tips for Returning Users: 

If you have registered a player using our system in the past, you can save time by using the same user profile this time!  By using the same profile, your player’s information will automatically be entered for you, and you will just have to check it for accuracy.

 

Did you forget your User ID?  You can log into our system by using the email address tied to your profile in the login area below.

 

Did you forget your password?  You can reset your password by clicking the “Forgot your password” link below and then following the instructions.

 

register all your players at once to receive Multi-Player Discounts

Families who register 2 or players receive a discount of $10 per player, and families who register 3 or more players receive a discount of $20 per player.  T-Ball players do not count toward these discounts due to the reduced fee for T-Ball players.  All discounts are calculated and credited to your account automatically at the Checkout page if you register more than one player for leagues that qualify.  Please note our system only gives discounts if you register ALL your players in one registration session.  To make sure you receive the appropriate discounts, please enter ALL the necessary information for ALL the players you are registering BEFORE you proceed to the Checkout page.  (Please also note our discounts are offered to families only.  If any player obtains an automatic discount through this registration process and is not eligible for the discount, the player’s registration will not be complete until the full registration fee has been paid in full). 

 

Online Payment Information

 

JYBSA does require online payment.  To complete registration through our secure site, you will need to have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Checking account information available.  After your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email and see a charge on your account from “Janesville Youth Baseball and Softball.”

 

If you don't want to enter your payment information online, we can work with you.  We use online registration to reduce the significant volunteer efforts that would otherwise be needed to register 900+ players for our programs.  If you do not want to enter your credit card information online, however, please contact us.  Although we will still require you to complete an online registration, we can make arrangements to allow you to pay by check for an additional fee of $15 per registration.  When we receive your pre-payment, we will then give you a numeric code that you can enter on our payment screen in lieu of your personal information. 

 

how to determine your player's "playing age" under our age limits

 

For our softball leagues, each player's "league age" is determined as of January 1 of each year.  The only exception to this rule is that if your softball player was 6 years old on January 1 of this year but will be 7 years old by June 1 of this year, you may register your softball player for our 7/8 softball league as a 6 year old.  If you do that, your player will have an extra year in our 7/8 league and will be required to play three years in that league.

 

For our T-Ball and baseball leagues, each player’s “league age” is determined as of April 30 of each year.  Ask yourself how old your player will be on April 30 of this upcoming season, and then register your player for that age division.

 

Please pay attention to our age requirements!  We have a policy of strictly enforcing our age limits because they are set by national rules which we must follow.  Please do not try to "beat" our system by registering a player who does not meet the age requirement. We reserve the right to require proof of age for each player.  If it is determined that a player's age has been misrepresented in the registration process, JYBSA will remove the player from our programs immediately.

 

Don't delay in registering!  

Except for our T-Ball program, all player fees increase for registrations that are not received before March 15.  Also, although we are a no-cut organization, we do have limits to the roster size of our teams and may have to cut off registrations once we reach full capacity. 

 

Evaluation Days are Coming Up!

Although we are a no-cut organization, we do require some players to participate in an Evaluation Day to help us put everyone on a team and make sure the teams are as balanced as possible.

 

BASEBALL:  Evaluation Day will held outdoors at the JYBSA Complex if possible for players who are new to our 9-10 year old league, 11-12 year old league, and 13-15 year old league.  The exact date and times will be announced by email.  Please be sure to check your email account used to register your player for any updates as Evaluation Day approaches. 

 

SOFTBALL:  Evaluation Day is to be scheduled.  Specific times for each age group will be announced by email at a later date.  Please be sure to check the email account you use to register your player for updates on the specific times.
